As it always goes, pregnancy = rapid weight gain (in my case, really rapid!). I gained over 40 pounds throughout the course of those nine months. Weeks after I had my little nugget, I lost about 25 pounds. I figured that'd be about it for me and I'd just have to live with the 20 pounds of weight I didn't have before I got pregnant. Well, it seems I'm now almost to my pre-pregnancy weight! I am now 183 (the same weight as my dear fiance!). I hope to be at least 170 in the next month or so, but my goal is at least 150. Now, I don't strive for 120 or anything like that. I was raised in the south and I have curves like a true Southern girl. I don't have the body type to be a scrawny thing who looks as if she has never eaten meat and potatoes! I just want to get rid of the little post pregnancy belly pudge and those bat wings old ladies seem to get (though I am far from an old lady and mine isn't loose skin. -.-''). I'll make sure to post my progress because I am pretty proud of myself.
Also, I haven't been totally up-to-date with my blog because I've been under the weather. But I'm taking my vitamin C and it works SUUUUPER well! Not that I've been doing much of anything this past week anyways, aside from being sick and cleaning my arse off and taking care of Gage!

Awesome Holiday!
I had a pretty good Thanksgiving & Black Friday! Soooo much food I thought I'd burst! Gage was pretty good through it all. He was passed around like a hot potato from relative to relative!. The cupcakes went over wonderfully. My cousin took home what was left of them. (3 maybe?) And the following morning, around 2:30 a.m., My fiance, my dad and me went Black Friday shopping. It was a mad house! My dad got me a camera that we stood in line 3 hours for. These old ladies were guarding them like they were full of delicious cookies. "WE were here FIRST. WE get our camera's FIRST. The line is over there behind that lady!" Ugh, old women and their deals. My fiance kept giving her dirty looks the whole time and she made them back. :|
I also got a neat hat with Animal from the Muppets and two pairs of shoes. Though I think the best part of the whole holiday was when my dad gave me this cute owl lamp!

Happy (Early) Thanksgiving!
Since I'll be at my Grandmother's enjoying Thanksgiving all day tomorrow with a ton of my family (fathers side, anyways) and fiance, I thought I'd post this early. I made rainbow cupcakes for tomorrow. They turned out pretty good! (I'll add crappy quality pics later (my camera is really kinda cheap for $100+ Polaroid digital))
I got the cupcake tutorial from The Dainty Squid. She's pretty amazing.

I photoshopped it for artisticness.

A Late Tuesday.
FINALLY, I got Photoshop CS5 up again. My fiance knows he'll have to pry me off the computer now. I'll most likely post a ton of my new photography on here now. Well, it's been a pretty "busy" week (since Friday, at least.) Though busy to me right now is just getting out of the house and going out all day. Went and got Cherry flavoured clove cigars. They're pretty good. Though the cigarette cloves were wayyy better.
Annnnd, Sunday I got my little Gage a BEAR SNOWSUIT! It's so effing cute. (I'll post pics up soon.) Also got him a bear winter hat. THEY BOTH HAVE EARS AND EVERYTHING! And while we were browsing Babies R Us, I found the cutest nursery set.
It has foxes, owls, raccoons and squirrels! Def. going on my Christmas list!
I'll probably post my fiance's new hair cut here soon! It looks wayyy better than before.

Silly Saturday!
Last night was a pretty fun night. Karaoke with the fiancée and got to leave Gage with a babysitter. Hopefully I'll be able to do that every Friday night. :D Today I have to go to a party with a bunch of relatives I never met. Woo.... Have to show the baby off and all.
So, yesterday I got these vitamins to make my hair longer. They taste pretty shitty and if you get them DO NOT smell the bottle. It will make you gag. I threw up like a little bit agter I took them (I'm sort of hoping it WAS the vitamins and not an imminent pregnancy) I do want longer hair and I guess the nail part is pretty good, too. Though I just pick my nails off anyways.

The Love of My Existence....
It's funny how people meet and fall in love. Some find their true loves in High School or college, some at their jobs, on dating sites, in the park, at the store, etc. I found mine on Karaoke Night at the local bar. I was (and still am) a bit young to go into that bar (anyone under 21 can stay until 11). I was with my cousin just sitting there and watching the drunks suck at karaoke. Then, Chuck came in. My cousin GLOMPED the fuck out of him. (For those of you who do not know what glomping is, it's like a tackle hug.) He looked at me and mouthed "Help me!" (He and my cousin do not get along very well because she's the epitome of a dumb blonde (Sorry Jaymi!)) I just smiled and watched them converse for a bit until he told her to go outside with him. I, for some reason, got very jealous. I guess I was already starting to like him in the, what, 10 minutes I met him? Anyways, they came back in and him and I talked for quite a while. My cousin, Chuck and I went outside where he showed us some video of spiders on drugs then, right before it was time for the "kiddies" to leave, we agreed to meet up at the mall in a few days. So, ever since then Chuck and I have been almost inseparable. I let him move in with me, we got engaged after like a few weeks, I got pregnant maybe a month and a half after meeting him, left the state when I was about 3 months pregnant to get financial help (leaving Chuck behind, unfortunately) and now I'm back with him at my dads house in Ohio and our son is now 4 months! It's been a wild ride since the day we met, but I really don't regret it (except for me leaving him to go to Tennessee!).
My Future Prodigy, Present Adorable Little Punkin'.
My 4 month old, Gage Charles, is a bit of a handful. He's everything my fiance and I am ten-fold. He's picky, whiny, loud, funny, greedy, sleepy, and quite the bit of a flirt. He knows he can get his own way and stops at nothing to do it. I love dearly and am proud to have such an awesome little kiddo. In my opinion, parenting young (not too young, mind you!) is a lot better than being an older parent to a newborn. It's easier to relate to a 3 year old when your 23 than it is when you're 35. I can't wait to have more, just not right now. But I'll wait if it means I can have the little girl I wanted. ;) Though I'll love every little cutie I birth.
A Future Of Blogging...
I'm extremely late on the whole blogging fad. I have never been good at keeping up with journals, diaries and other things of that nature. But, I'm going to try! I need to document myself for future reference. I don't know how interesting I'll be to "Wow!" other people, but all I can do is be myself. I won't jazz myself up to impress others. That's not my scene.
